FN-DAC DatasheetFN-DAC Digital Alarm Communicator/Transmitter (DACT) Hochiki America Corporation is pleased to announce the release of the FN-DAC Digital Alarm Communicator/Transmitter. The FN-DAC is designed to work with the FireNET™ Analog Fire Alarm Control Panel. The FN-DAC uses PSTN telephone lines to report alarm, trouble, supervisory and other events by address (point) or by zone using Contact ID or SIA format. The FN-DAC may be programmed from the FireNET™ front panel keypad, or by using Loop Explorer software. The FN-DAC also allows remote access to the FireNET™ network by mean of a computer, modem, and Loop Explorer software. The FN-DAC comes complete in a kit with cables and mounting hardware. 24 VDC operating power is provided by the FireNET™ auxiliary power, or by a UL listed 24 VDC regulated power supply. RJ31X jacks are not included. Telephone connection to the FN-DAC is by terminal strip. Please see the FN-DAC data sheet for more details.In order to use the FN-DAC, the FireNET™ must have firmware version 3.800 or higher. Loop Explorer must be version 6.00 or higher. |
